SIPPO Bosnia and Herzegovina organized another Organizational Capacity Assessment workshop.
The one-day workshop focused on evaluating the current capacities of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH (STK/VTK BiH) in a wide range of areas as SIPPO's contribution to the development of STK/VTK's capacity in providing export promotion services.
This detailed analysis covered six key areas:
- Networking and collaboration: This session assessed the chamber's effectiveness in building and maintaining relationships with other organizations.
- Monitoring and measuring results: The focus here was on the chamber's ability to track progress and measure the impact of its initiatives.
- Digitalization: This session evaluated the chamber's use of technology to streamline operations and improve services.
- Service provision: This area examined the efficiency and effectiveness of the services that the chamber provides to its members.
- Strategy: This session assessed the clarity and effectiveness of the chamber's overall strategic direction.
- Sustainability: This session addressed country-specific ESG criteria, trade regulations and sustainability standards, as well as related policies and guidelines of the Chamber of Commerce. It also covered the Chamber's ability to promote knowledge sharing on good sustainability practices and opportunities for collecting and promoting information about their members/clients and their products/services.
The results of the OCA workshop will be crucial for planning future activities and further development of STK/VTK BiH capacities. By identifying areas for improvement, the Chamber can take targeted steps to improve its efficiency and better serve its members. The workshop was led by external experts and included the participation of representatives of both STK/VTK BiH and SIPPO, ensuring a comprehensive and collaborative assessment process.
