In October AIDA and SIPPO organized a workshop with around 60 participants from textile sector companies, experts of textile sector, academic professionals and government representatives which took place during the first edition of Expocity's Textile, Leather and Fashion fair.

SIPPO expert Brigitte Heuser introduced the EU buyers’ requirements for exports in Apparel, EU Market Trends in Apparel and shared experience of major EU fair exhibitions for this sector. It is now the right moment for Albanian textile sector to promote Albania as an attractive production place nearshore the EU market.

There was a constructive debate on the situation of the sector and its future perspective by exchanging experiences, opinions and ideas on developing and promoting Albania in EU markets as an attractive garment manufacturing site.
